We are a financial education firm. We combine AI-guided learning with real coaching so that individuals, entrepreneurs, and nonprofits learn how credit files are built, how lenders read them, and which habits move the numbers — no credit repair, no lending, no empty promises.

The standard we hold
Three things we will never do
Many of the people who call us have already paid someone who promised the impossible. Here is what separates real education from a sales pitch.
01 — No lendingWe do not originate, broker, or arrange loans of any kind, and we take no commission from anyone who does.01
02 — No credit repairWe do not dispute items on your behalf or sell credit cards. We teach you to read your own file and act on it yourself.02
03 — No promised numbersNobody can guarantee a score. What we can promise is coursework, coaching hours, and materials you keep.03
01 · What we teach
Six programs, one scope
Flagship · 30 days
Rapid Reset Training
A 30-day course on how credit structure actually works: the anatomy of a report, how balances and timing are weighed, how to analyze the debt you carry, and the weekly habits that keep a file healthy once it is.
Four modules, one per week, with written workbooks
Read your own report line by line, with a coach
A written plan you leave with, in your own words
02 · Business owners
Business Funding Readiness
Compliance, documentation, and planning — so that when you approach a lender or a grant committee, your paperwork answers their questions before they ask.
03 · Teams & nonprofits
Financial Compliance Training
Policies, transparency, and accountability for teams that handle money — written procedures your board and your auditor can both follow.
04 · Entrepreneurs
AI Literacy for Entrepreneurs
Practical use of AI tools for budgeting, forecasting, and planning — including where their answers should not be trusted.
05 · One to one
Digital Financial Coaching
One-to-one sessions with real accountability between them, supported by AI-guided practice you can do at home.
06 · Schools & nonprofits
Team Workshops & Trainings
Half-day and full-day sessions for schools, nonprofits, and small teams, delivered on site in Corona or San Diego.
02 · How it works
From first call to finished coursework
01
The 20-minute call
You describe where you are. We tell you plainly whether education is the right next step — and say so when it isn't.
02
Review and scope
We go through your own documents together, name the two or three things that matter most, and agree the program in writing.
03
Coursework and coaching
Modules week by week, with scheduled sessions in between. You do the work; the coach keeps you honest about it.
04
Your own plan
You finish with a written plan, the workbooks, and a standing invitation to bring back questions as your situation changes.

04 · Who leads the firm
Philip-Blaine Adsit
Founder & Chief Executive Officer
Philip-Blaine founded the firm on a single conviction: the people most affected by credit decisions are the ones given the least explanation. He built the firm around it, leads the coaching side of the business himself, and keeps the scope to education only — no lending, no credit repair, no referral fees.
He works out of both offices and takes consultation calls personally, because the first conversation is where honesty matters most.
“
Knowledge over numbers. A score you don't understand isn't progress — it's luck.
05 · Straight answers
Questions we get on the first call
If your question isn't here, ask it on the phone. We would rather turn away work than be misunderstood about what we do.
Still unsure?
Ask it on the phone. Twenty minutes, no obligation, and no answer that depends on a number we cannot promise.
No. We are not a credit repair organization, and we do not file disputes, contact bureaus, or negotiate with creditors for you. We are an education firm: we teach you how your file is constructed and what your own options are, and you act on them yourself. If you need legal help, we will tell you to seek a lawyer.
Will my score go up?
We will not predict a number, and anyone who does is guessing or selling. Scores respond to your own behavior over time, and the point of the coursework is that you can see why yours moves. What we guarantee is the teaching, the coaching hours, and the materials.
Do you lend money or sell cards?
Never. We hold no lending licence, take no referral commission, and have no product to place you into. Our only revenue is tuition for education and coaching, which is why our advice can afford to be plain.
How much time does the Rapid Reset take?
Thirty days, four modules, and roughly two to three hours of your own work each week alongside the scheduled sessions. People who cannot commit that time are better served by single coaching sessions, and we will say so.
What happens to my documents?
You keep control of them. We review what you choose to share during sessions, we do not sell or share data with third parties, and we do not need account credentials to teach you anything.
Where do sessions happen?
By phone or video anywhere, and in person at our Corona and San Diego offices. Team workshops are delivered on site at your school, agency, or workplace.
Start with a conversation, not a contract
Twenty minutes on the phone with the people who built the programs. If we are not the right fit, you will hear that on the call.
The Great American Credit Secret LLC is a financial education firm with offices in Corona and San Diego, California. We teach individuals, business owners, and organizations how credit, funding, and financial compliance actually operate — and we deliberately hold no licence to sell them anything else.
The mission
Explanation is the service
Financial systems are not secret so much as unexplained. Reports are written for lenders, not for the people they describe; funding checklists assume a vocabulary nobody was taught. That gap is where predatory offers live.
Our answer is unglamorous: structured coursework, human coaching, plain documents, and a scope we refuse to widen. When a client finishes a program, the measure of success is whether they can explain their own position to someone else — a spouse, a partner, a loan officer — without our help.
The philosophy
What “knowledge over numbers” commits us to
01We teach the mechanism before we discuss any tactic.
02We quote no score outcomes, ever, in any material.
03We take no commission from any lender, broker, or card issuer.
04We build our own programs and hand over the materials.
05We turn away work that education cannot honestly solve.
Founder
Philip-Blaine Adsit
Founder & Chief Executive Officer
Philip-Blaine Adsit built The Great American Credit Secret around a frustration he kept meeting: people were being sold outcomes instead of being taught systems. He set the firm up as an education practice — curriculum first, coaching second, and no third revenue line that could compromise either.
He built the programs — from Rapid Reset to the compliance material nonprofit teams use — and keeps the first consultation call on his own calendar. Clients who arrive after a bad experience with a credit company usually spend that call being told what we will not do for them.
He works between the Corona and San Diego offices and speaks regularly to schools, community groups, and small-business associations across Southern California.
How we work
Four commitments we can show you in writing
Programs, written down
Every program has modules, objectives, and materials you keep. Nothing important lives only in a conversation.
Compliance in the open
Our scope, our disclosures, and our limits are stated before you pay, in the agreement and on this site.
Data kept small
We ask for the minimum needed to teach, never for account credentials, and we do not sell client information.
Local, in person
Two California offices and on-site workshops, because a room full of people asking questions still beats a video.
Programs
Six programs, one scope: teaching
Each program states what it covers, how it is delivered, and who it suits. None of them include disputes, lending, card placement, or a promised score. Pricing is quoted after the consultation, once the scope is agreed.

W3Debt analysis: balances, timing, and priorities
W4Your monthly routine, written in your own words

We prepare you for lenders. We are not one, and we do not introduce you to one for a fee.

Delivered as a half day, a full day, or a series
Training, not attestation: we do not audit, certify, or file on your behalf.
